The Challenge

While Jennifer had always offered one-time purchases via a Wix storefront, launching a subscription model made perfect sense.

With a subscription offering, parents globally could enjoy time-saving, regular deliveries of fun treats for a daily ritual thanks to Jennifer's all-natural bath bombs, whose itch-free, natural formula set them apart from the crowd.

Yet after a few months on Wix, she knew she needed a more powerful solution.

With an expansive range of products and a vision of a highly personalizable offering, Jennifer knew she needed a solution that would allow her to create a delightful, seamless, and flexible customer experience, well beyond Wix’s existing capabilities.

The Solution

Jennifer was already able to keep most of her turnover because her products are fully handmade. The problem was figuring out how to scale whilst keeping customers satisfied.

Taking advantage of Subbly's vast resource library, Jennifer quickly learned the ropes.

To target those at risk of voluntary churn, she used Subbly’s Churn Suite to offer them options to downgrade or pause their subscriptions.

Subbly’s dunning tool proved useful to reduce involuntary churn, while the add-on and upsell features gave her a powerful boost which made up for an additional chunk of lost revenue. The intuitive self-serve customer areas were the icing on the cake.

With additional upsells and add-ons purchased throughout, as well as a 75% reduction in reduced payments, it’s been the start of an epic journey to date, and one we’re looking forward to see progress over the coming year and beyond.
