Subscriptions and supplements went hand in hand — as every health routine is most effective as a habit. But delivering it as efficiently as possible proved to be a different story altogether.
Yasir already understood that there was an average amount customers actually spent on supplements every month. All he needed was a way to make the purchase flow as smooth as possible.
A key problem lay in their choice of platform, Magento. Offering customers as many as 32 different combinations, narrowed down via a series of conditional flows, and boosted with free shipping and gifts, wasn't possible out-the-box.
Yasir would go on to investigate a range of solutions, including Shopify’s own subscription solution and a range of plugins, before taking the leap and launching wholeheartedly into a custom solution built on Subbly’s API and SDK.
